Re: Which Norse God/Godess are you? « Result #6 on Feb 15, 2008, 2:01pm »
cool! I also took the test twice to be sure so here's my result:
Loki and his wife Sigyn; Loki's Punishment.
Loki (or Loke)
Loki is a jotun. He became Odin's friend and blood brother, and came to live with and be seen as a god. Loki is the god of mischief, and in some sources, chaos. Together with Sigyn he has the sons Vali and Narvi, and with a jotun woman he has the children Hel, Fenrir and the Midgar serpent. He is also the mother(!) of Odin's eight legged horse, Sleipner.
He is a prankster, and has fun playing tricks onthe other gods, expecially Thor and Heimdall. He envies Balder, who is loved by everyone.
Because of his part in Balders death, and other things he did to the other gods, he recives punishment. He was binded to three slabs of stone, and the gods placed a snake above his head so that its venom would pour onto him. Sigyn sits beside him and collects the venom in a wooden bowl, but she has to empty the bowl when it fills up, during which time the searing venom drips onto Loki's face. The pain is then so terrible that he writhes, making the earth shake.
Loki will stay bound untill The Last Battle, Ragnarok. He will be freed, and will lead some of the jotuns. He will fight Heimdall, and lose, but also gravely wound Heimdall.
